My graphic works are not limited to societal templates; they claim their own, original metaphorical space. I do not know whether their influence on society will be positive or negative over time, but I want to believe that they – beyond their beauty – also possess a strong ‘sonorous fullness.’
The themes I explore are an endless interplay of visual, musical, and poetic alternatives. FLIGHT, LOVE, FAITH, LONGING, THE EYE, PARENTS, LIFE, and DEATH are the symbols of MY TIME.
Currently, I am captivated by the theme of FLIGHT. Why? Because FLIGHT gives the universe physicality by charging it with its own weight. I want MY FLIGHT to propel TIME beyond boundaries – not to kill it.
