Anna Wesely
I love the vast and archaic size of nature, the mountains, the vastness of the sky and the sea. Therefore the focus of my artwork is on water, the reflection of the backlight and the often dramatic movement of the waves. I try to convey something similar in my landscape paintings and water lily ponds (I love Monet and his strong colors), i.e. the play of light and shadow. I always have a camera with me, after which I compose my paintings using many photos like a puzzle.
