The artworks “Nursing” and “Tischlein deck dich” focus on the alarming situation of bees, which are unable to find sufficient food for survival because of expanding monocultures. Bees ensure the survival of around 90 percent of plant species, which is crucial for both human and animal nutrition. “Without bees, there is no life.”The images also highlight how humans can aid these essential pollinators by planting bee-friendly flowers.
