Accompany us into room Miller, it’s namesake Ferdinand von Miller was a celebrated Munich sculptor. As director of the Royal Ore Foundry he took responsibility for the „Bavaria“, only her 15 meters measuring head took eight years to build. In 1850 the gigantic sculpture was solemnly revealed. Another spectacular piece of his art is the Quadriga on top of the Siegestor. 1851 one of the lions won first place on the first world exhibition in London.

During the in-person exhibition in the Künstlerhaus, all of the works in the Room Miller will be added step by step as videos and photos – so anyone who didn’t make it to the Künstlerhaus will be able to stroll through the rooms here until May 5th.
